| 1911 Census, age 6, living at 98 St Augustine Road, Southsea When she left school she went to Secretarial College, then to Ratsey and Lapthorn Ltd, Gosport as a typist. After her marriage she managed a Wine and Spirits shop withher husband in Southampton. When World War two broke out they moved to Chandlers Ford to escape the bombing. In 1949 they moved to Swindon. In 1984 she moved to a nursing home in Sandown, Isle of Wight. |
